You will serve as aN ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the COMMANDER OFFICER FACILITY AND INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Duties

You will develop and submit complex equipment acquisition documentation. You will provide a complete and accurate response to internal and external data calls. You will define ADP requirements affecting the daily mission and the execution of functions in the IOMD and interface with the Information Technology/ Information Management Office to resolve ADP issues. You will perform other duties as assigned.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Perform facility management functions relating to Facilities Requirements, Facility Acquisition and Disposition, Shore Based Maintenance of Real Property Management, and Shore Station Management. 2. Manage complex plant equipment by identifying and analyzing customer requirements and acquiring, modifying, and disposing of IPE, facility equipment, non-ADP machine controls, and labor-saving office equipment. 3.Review Architectural and Engineering (A/E) designs.
