Duties
Provide project engineering services and project management of Architectural/Engineer (A/E) or in-house designed projects for construction, maintenance, alteration, repair, and for special projects or studies.
Solve, advise, or evaluate complex project management problems which involve difficult or unusual planning, scheduling, negotiation and coordination, as well as less complex project management assignments.
Apply a broad range of technical disciplines, including architecture, engineering, surveying and mapping, as well as design, cost estimating, contract analysis, contract negotiation, contract administration, and project scheduling and tracking.
Coordinates the development of all design documentation and design through other segments of the district or Architect/Engineer firms.
Serve as Technical Services Division coordinator for review of plans and specifications prepared by A/Es working for other agencies.
Serve as Technical Services Division Point of Contact for Quality Control/Quality Assurance issues and responsible for developing policies and procedures to ensure quality technical products.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes providing project engineering services and project management of Architectural/Engineer (A/E) designed projects for construction, maintenance, alteration, and repair; evaluating project management issues for planning, scheduling, negotiation and coordination; and reviewing Quality Control Plans and Quality Assurance Plans.
