You will serve as a LEAD BUSINESSS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the FLEET READINESS CENTER SE of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Duties

You will assign and prioritize workload across the team, and ensure timely support of all requirements You will regularly brief the executive leadership team concerning business process changes, improvements and standardization initiatives. You will serve as a Coach/Mentor to the team by providing technical and administrative guidance, instruction, and assists with problem solving You will be responsible for providing feedback, solution, and training to new and existing team members to ensure they are well equipped in supporting their customers and the commands mission.

Requirements

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing new business processes for the FRC and the Enterprise that support operations functions for weapons systems, equipment, and projects. 2) Developing business system processes to support industrial operational commitments. 3) Preparing detailed plans and conducts studies to develop new methods, processes and procedures. 4) Collaborating with management specialist and function product teams in in analyzing new business processes, software, and IT systems to ensure they will support the Command's business practices. 5) Assisting with the development of local policies, directives and standard operating procedures that may later become models for other FRC activities.6) Training and providing guidance to management Specialist of lesser grade in performing their duties. 7) Reviewing education and training programs to include plans and course requirements to educate and train users on various industrial business process applications, system capabilities and requirements.
