You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST in the WEAPONS AND ENERGETICS DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Duties

You will develop employee skills and assist in their career progression through mentoring, motivation, coaching, and instruction. You will assist employees in executing objectives efficiently and effectively. You will provide quality assessments of employees that clearly support and define ratings, payout point assignments and payouts. You will manage intergroup relations and conflicts; anticipate stakeholder needs and concerns.

• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (NM-03) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Providing or leading a team providing mission planning product support (e.g. software testing or requirement analysis); 2) Involving yourself with the professional and interpersonal development of other employees; 3) Ensuring objectives include realistic programmatic, technical and/or financial goals; and 4) Performing research tasks to obtain a variety of cost, schedule, and performance data.
