You will serve as a EQUAL EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST in the Business Directorate of the Naval Facilities Engineering
Command (NAVFAC) of NAVFAC NORTHWEST.
Duties
You will administer the EEO complaint process.
You will recommend actions that can be taken to resolve complaints when the nature of complaint warrants.
You will ensure that complaint files are correct and all complaint information is accurately and timely entered into the DON complaints tracking system.
You will recommend actions that can be taken to meet RA requests.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Advising managers and supervisors on all aspects of the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) program, to include Sexual Harassment/Assault Response Prevention Training, discrimination regulations and policies, alternative dispute resolution and mediation processes, affirmative employment initiatives and best practices, and the management of one or more of the Special Emphasis Program; 2) Administering the Reasonable Accommodation (RA) program in accordance with regulatory and statutory guidance; and 3) Developing, implementing and administering plans of action of the EEO program.
