You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the NSW Assessment Command (NSWAC) of NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE CTR CORONADO.

Duties

You will be responsible for maintaining, evaluating, improving, organizing and implementing NSW assessment and outreach practices and policy in the Tidewater area and the East Coast. You will represent the NSWAC in all matters of policy and execution regarding NSW assessment and outreach activities assigned to the Little Creek Detachment. You will effectively plan, prepare, and present NSW related outreach material and briefs by means of informational presentations at Training Support Centers, NCC/CCC Training Centers and periodic East Coast CCC Association meetings. You will ensure that all In-Fleet Transition Seminars are adequately staffed, and presentations are interesting, informational, and professional. You will be responsible for conducting In-Fleet seminars and engagements and supervising the Fleet Transition Program and all training activities associated with that program. You will maintain inventory and custody chains of all NSW issued inventory for the office.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Incumbent must also maintain access to classified information and maintain access to controlled security areas.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector developing regulatory policy and guidance; leading or directing employees and serving as a liaison to external organizational stakeholders with responsibility for providing guidance on decisions that impact acquisition projects.
