This position starts at a salary of $112,015.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $172,075.00 (GS-14, Step 10) with promotion potential to $172,075.00 (GS-14 Step 10).

As a Management and Program Analyst, your typical work assignments may include:
Analyzing and developing plans, guidance, and operational strategies that supports the program's efforts to build local and state public health informed targeted violence and terrorism prevention plans.
Supporting the planning and coordination of stakeholder engagements, events, and meetings and maintaining key stakeholder relationships.
Informing programs of relevant intelligence and research evidence and establishing innovative public health approaches to prevent targeted violence and terrorism.
Providing program updates of the efficacy to leadership.
Qualifications
Experience: You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:
Developing, monitoring, implementing, and evaluating current or projected complex, interrelated homeland security, targeted violence, violence prevention, and/or public health programs involving governmental and non-governmental organizations from multiple sectors at the community, State, national, and/or international levels.
Applying procedures and operations to remedy inefficient processes in areas of strategic engagement, grants management, policy and research, field operations, or education and information sharing.
Applying procedures for compliance with policy
Gathering facts to develop solutions to problems.
Utilizing automated data systems.
