You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER (CNAF Diversity and Inclusion) in the DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION DEPARTMENT of COMMANDER NAVAL AIR PACIFIC.

Duties

You will serve as the lead coordinator and integrator of Inclusion and Diversity training, training support, leader development, and individual training for all subordinate commands. You will lead and assist in developing, executing and coordinating diversity training conducted internally and by outside sources. You will provide long and short range planning in conjunction with subordinate commands with respect to changes in missions of diversity and inclusion programs. You will formulate annual program management goals and objectives to ensure training realization is based on redefinition of board objectives, annual program changes and Department of the Navy policies. You will provide guidance and assist with the design, support, implementation and execution of diversity initiatives, strategies and programs within Naval Aviation Enterprise. You will develop appropriate plans of action when no guidance exists and develop methods from numerous sources and contacts both internal and external to the agency and higher headquarters. You will assist in preparing Diversity and Inclusion briefs and provide other documentation for senior leadership based on results of data analysis to make decisions. You will perform a wide variety of administrative and analytical tasks in support of DoD/DON Diversity strategies and goals.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading the development of program goals or organizational training plans and evaluating the effectiveness of a training program at meeting its strategic objectives for an Inclusion and Diversity program.
