Duties
This position is located under the Intelligence Systems Support Branch, Operational Intelligence Division,
Office of Strategic Intelligence and Information in Washington, District of Columbia.
Qualifications
To qualify for 14, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS13.
Additional Conditions of Employment:
GS-14 - You qualify if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector experience, performing the following duties:
Familiar with the laws, regulations, policies, and precedents applicable to law enforcement programs and;
Familiar with federal regulatory and criminal enforcement programs, current issues, and evolving developments and;
Develop long-range plans, projects, and resource priorities; formulate policies; and make recommendations that have a direct and substantial effect on law enforcement programs and operations and;
Experience communicating information; resolve problems; and justify, defend, and negotiate issues pertaining to branch programs projects.
A one-year probationary period is required for new supervisors and managers.
