Duties
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As an Program Analyst, you will use your knowledge of and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by:
Participating with assigned Office managers and program advisors in evaluation and implementation of program and budgetary strategies as they relate to the strategic planning, budget, financial management, policy and program areas.
Providing advice and assistance by developing and reviewing administrative programs and budget related initiatives to ensure adherence to the methods, principles, and practices of sound organizational management and efficient resources utilization.
Serving as a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) coordinator for requests in coordination with the Deputy Chief of Staff.
Organizing and developing supporting documentation for requests, managing timelines/deadlines for a significant portfolio of associated work.
Providing technical document redaction and instruction and guidance to staff.
Addressing questions and resolving issues/problems.
Establishing and maintaining tracking systems and records for all FOIA activities in the program offices.
Developing new policies, procedures, and guidance materials or adapting existing guidance in response to new regulatory requirements and to promote efficiencies in program operations.
Providing advice and counsel on budget and administrative programs.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Minimum Qualifications: You must have one-year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing at least three (3) of the following:
Analyzing correspondence, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, official records, regulations, and policies to determine impacts on internal policies, procedures and/or operations.
Drafting policies, procedures, and/or guidance materials to address regulatory requirements and/or to promote efficiencies in program operations.
Performing investigations and analysis of administrative, budget, policy, program and/or operational objectives to identify inefficiencies or need for improvement.
Coordinating, tracking, and assisting with FOIA requests for a program.
