Serves as the second-level Manager in the Oklahoma City Shared Services Center (SSC), providing oversight to the SSC front line Supervisor and employees in the transactional/processing section. Provides direct supervision to the Payroll Liaison Staff and the Personnel Records/files management area.

Duties

The incumbent reports directly to the Shared Services Manager and provides planning, management, and direction of Shared Services activities and programs relating to providing the full range of personnel action processing and maintaining Electronic Official Personnel Folders (eOPFs), Payroll Liaison Staff functions, and Personnel Records/files management activities.

Requirements

Reference OPMs Group Coverage Qualification Standards for Administrative and Management PositionsTo qualify for this position at the FV-J, (FG/GS-14) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-I, (FG/GS-13) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCEincludes experience interpreting and applying HR policies/procedures; leading or overseeing the work of lower-graded staff or teams providing the full range of personnel action processing; experience with HR related systems in data collection/analysis; experience in payroll functions; analyzing performance measures and metrics; and problem solving.Applicants should provide examples of specialized experience in their work history. Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.
