About the Position: The installation rests in the beautiful 'hill and lake' country of Central Texas between Killeen and Copperas Cove and is approximately 60 miles north of the capital city of Austin, 50 miles south of Waco, 160 miles south of Dallas, and 150 miles north of San Antonio. Duties

Provide planning and technical assistance in maintaining readiness and deployability for Corps and Fort Hood units as a contingency unit. Coordinate the allocations and support within the Corps to execute fielding actions. Monitor the Army Modernization developments and ensure that the Corps and Fort Hood new equipment deployment system compliments that of higher headquarters. Coordinate the budget elements in identifying and resolving funding issues for both fieldings and force structure actions for accuracy.
