You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in Conventional Prompt Strike (SPC) Program Office of CPS PROGRAM OFFICE.
Duties
You will lead product support, maintenance and sustainment efforts for the rapid development and fielding of the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) Weapon System.
You will develop and coordinate long-range to implement the support and maintenance concepts and develops the maintainability requirements for assigned systems. Perform cost analysis and life cycle costing studies for assigned systems.
You will ensure CPS product support and logistics representative communication to external organizations meets programmatic requirements for independent logistics assessment, oversite and certification.
You will provide programmatic and professional guidance or advice to senior level leaders concerning problems that often affect the work of other senior managers, support contractors, or may impact other significant programs.
You will provide leadership and programmatic support for supportability evaluation activities pertaining to the CPS Weapon System.
You will coordinate and execute acquisition planning for logistics support and implementation of sustainment and supportability strategies to fulfill product support requirements, characterized by new or innovative technologies.
You will identify future supportability requirements within existing budget constraints to support integration onto multiple platforms, modernization programs and sustainment of new capabilities.
You will identify, develop and implement recommendations and solutions to problems and risks for CPS product support required outcomes. Plan and coordinate acquisition efforts and final acquisition packages.
You will develop and implement product support and maintenance concepts/requirements for assigned systems to achieve program goals and objectives with minimum life cycle cost.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-2 pay band or GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience planning weapons systems' sustainment and supportability functions (e.g., performance capabilities, acquisition, manpower, training, equipment, resources, facilities).
