This position is located at the Columbus, Ohio's Defense Logistics Agency's Golf Course. his position is a Flexible (Flex) position and there are 0 guaranteed hours per week. Flex employees are not entitled to leave or benefits. There is no upper limit to the number of hours a flexible employee may work (subject to overtime obligations and work scheduling requirements).

Duties

Assists management with the operation of facility in accordance with established procedures. Issues, receives and controls cash receipts and change funds; verifies cash count of funds turned in by cashiers. Assists in setting up parties according to party plan. May monitor inventories, place and receive food and beverage orders using Food track or similar software. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
• Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.
• Must meet state/local age (21) requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment.
• May be required to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess: 1.Work experience in the receipt, disbursement, inspection, deposit, safekeeping or other processing of cash items (cash items are currency, coins, checks, money orders and credit card receipts) This experience "Must" be clearly reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position. 2. Where duties involve selling alcoholic beverages applicant must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment. 3. Skill in providing customer service. 4. Ability to communicate effectively.
