This vacancy is for a GS-1702-7, Training Technician located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, COAST GUARD EDUCATION AND TRAINING QUOTA MANAGEMENT COMMAND (ETQC). Duty location in Norfolk, VA
Duties
You will serve as a Training Technician and serve as Training Technician and will be responsible for scheduling and issuing orders to Class "C" training for Coast Guard personnel.
Qualifications
To qualify at the GS-07 grade level, applicants must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.

Specialized experience must include the following:
Preparing management reports, and recommend improvement to organizational processes.
Collecting, analyzing, and maintaining statistical data and information online and in print.
Importing data from central systems in order to perform analysis and prepare management reports.
Preparing various reports and recommends ways in which the administration of the training programs can be improved.

1 full year of graduate level education
OR
Superior academic achievement
OR
Combining Education and Experience: Combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements for the grade level.
NOTE: Education can not be substituted for experience at this grade level.
