About the Position: Serves as Contract Management Specialist for Fort Wainwright Alaska Directorate of Public Works, with responsibility for supporting various types of requirements and administering contracts within the Contract Management Branch.

Duties

Serves as Contracting Officer Representative (COR) with responsibility for the planning, development, evaluation, and payment for various service contracts. Develops, coordinates, and assists in the preparation of performance work statements (PWS), QASP, and independent government cost estimates with professional and technical personnel at all levels. Serves as Procurement Coordinator with responsibility for a wide variety of budgetary and contract documents, administrative reports, and similar program documentation to justify and support projected program funding and current program expenditures. Resolves audit report problems in accordance with procurement regulations.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

• This position may require some TDY travel – approximately 5%.
