About the Position: This position is with the Joint Munitions Command located at McAlester, OK. This position serves as an Industrial Specialist (Ordnance) determining quantity and type of item required, delivery date, inspection criteria, packaging and preservation requirements, specifications, funding authority, etc.

Duties

Forecast supply requirements for all ammunition production and maintenance line operations. Provide technical advice on supply materials and standards for ammunition production operations. Submit procurement packages to purchase materials for Ammunition Operations (AO) process, ensuring proper interpretation of specifications so materials meet requirements. Consolidate cost and schedule input to include application of rates, inflation factor, contingencies, etc., and forwards a comprehensive Price and Availability to the customer.

• This position is a Domestic Violence Offender Gun Ban commonly referred to as Lautenberg Amendment. This act bans individuals convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence and certain others from possession or access to firearms or ammunition.
• This position meets the criteria for compliance with Federal and Department of the Army Drug Free Workplace Programs. Detection of the presence of drugs is warranted. This position is subject to a pre-employment screening and random testing.
• The position requires completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
• This position is designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations, you are required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
