About the Position: Position is a first-line supervisor responsible for implementing Department of Defense (DOD) and Military Entrance Processing Command (MEPCOM) policies and procedures for administering DOD Military Personnel Testing Program. Independently plans and carries out assignments within the scope of applicable regulations, Command Headquarters guidance, Sector guidance, and Military Entrance Processing Station Commander policies.
Duties
Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities and schedules work.
Provides managerial and supervisory oversight of the overall testing administration.
Coordinates with postsecondary school officials and applicable service Distance Learning Facility Mangers for classroom, internet, and computer support for enlistment verification testing.
Develops a testing schedule that provides optimal access for customers.
Oversees testing staff to ensure proper test administration, test scoring, and record processing.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Position requires Regular evening and weekend work.
- Position requires frequent local and occasional temporary duty business travel as required.
- Position requires a valid driver’s license be obtained and/or maintained.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Experience reviewing forms and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with related standards; 2) Experience providing oversight of administrative programs and/or staff; and 3) Experience utilizing computers and automated equipment to update spreadsheets and internet applications. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business, Management, Communication, Finance, Accounting or related business program. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
