Duties
You will assist in the oversight and direction of all phases of the organization's technical work, including models, studies, assessments, and other analytic activities.
You will serve as the senior civilian technical expert and provide technically sound solutions that address complex problems associated with Information Warfare (IW) systems and concepts.
You will manage and assess the adequacy of deliverables from technical and scientific contractors.
You will review all contract documentation related to operational and technical issues for mission objectives.
You will be responsible for conducting and coordinating the review of innovative new operational concepts and applying new hypotheses and concepts to improve effectiveness and efficiency of IW operations.
Requirements

- You will be required to maintain a Top Secret/SCI level security clearance. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You may be required to perform occasional travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations.
- This position may require you to work overtime.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Evaluating Information Warfare (IW) capability areas including: Resilient Command and Control (RC3); Precision Navigation and Timing (PNT); Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC); Cybersecurity; Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Targeting (ISRT); Counter-C4ISRT; and Information Operations (IO); (2) Managing and assessing the adequacy of deliverables from technical and scientific contractors; (3) Conducting and coordinating the review of innovative new operational concepts and applying new hypotheses and concepts to improve effectiveness and efficiency of IW operations; and (4) Conducting studies and assessments to inform resource allocation and/or leadership decisions.
