This position is located at Fort Campbell, KY - MWR - Cole Park Golf Club. This position is eligible for the NAF benefits package and leave accrual. Duties

Manages, plans and directs the daily operations of a golf course facility to include golf course maintenance. Coordinates golf functions with the community and military representatives. Conducts management review of patron programs to identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective measures. Evaluates the success of golf programs in terms of profitability, customer satisfaction, and mission accomplishment. Provides and maintains a teaching program for patronage at the individual and group levels. Reviews financial reports, estimates projected costs, and develops activity financial plan and operating budgets to include Capital Purchase and Minor Construction. Monitors the procurement of all supplies, equipment, and retail items for the activity. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• This facility is open seven days a week. Must be able to work rotating shifts of operation.
• Incumbent Must be a PGA member class "A" in good standing.

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements: Minimum of 2 years experience managing or directing the activities of a golf course. A 4 year college degree in a business related field may be substituted for 1 year of experience. Applicants meeting the following will be considered Highly Preferred: Possess a minimum of 3 (three) years experience working at a Golf Course Possess experience in analyzing financial statements with use of SMIRF (Standard Management Information Reports for Finance), MIS (Management Information Systems), or similar programs Possess experience using RECTRAC, WEBTRAC, or similar golf software **Applicants that meet the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred to management for consideration first.
