This vacancy is for a GS-2210-9, IT Cybersecurity Specialist (INFOSEC) located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, SFLC BOD INFORMATION SERVICES BR. Duty location will be determined upon selection.

Duties
You will serve as a/an IT Cybersecurity Specialist (INFOSEC) and be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems and data through planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance and enhancements of information systems security programs, policies, procedures, and tools. This position will serve as a team member supporting Operational Technology (OT) across the Coast Guard Surface Domain consisting of approximately 240 cutters and over 1,800 boats as well the SFLC and Coast Guard Yard Shore Side IT Products, Services, and Information Systems (IS).
Qualifications
To qualify at the GS-09 grade level, Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Such experience is typically gained in the IT field or through the performance of work where the primary concern is IT.
GS 09 Education: Completion of a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree in the following: computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
All academic degrees and coursework must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions.

Education
