About the Position: Serves as Training Officer. Assigns, tasks and provides guidance to staff offices in response to urgent and routine requests for information and recommendations within the organization.
Duties
Responsible for coordination and execution in the development of policies, concepts, guidelines, and
supplementary instructions on HRC internal training budgets, programs, and requirements.
Responsible for providing technical advice and guidance regarding a wide variety of training
topics, travel, organization inspection program, training resource management, and conference packets.
Conducts continuing analysis of existing policy and regulatory requirements to ensure accuracy, adequacy, conciseness, and uniform effectiveness.
Provides comprehensive advice and guidance to the staff within Human Resources Command (HRC) on all areas of military and civilian internal training programs and the organization inspection program requirements.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes drafting and coordinating annual training guidance or plans for a BN or larger element; executing a training budget; being a DTS reviewer; planning, executing, or coordinating Institutional Training (IT-TDY); with the Organization Inspection Program. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
