You will serve as an Administrative Specialist in the Program Management Personnel & Support Division of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.
Duties
You will serve as an advanced-level (05) Program Manager or Project Manager/Controller position assigned to a technical program(s) and/or
project(s) at Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific
You will provide expert technical and programmatic advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and stakeholders on critical
acquisition, technical, and financial issues related to the program/project.
You will develop detailed plans, tasks, milestone dates, and schedules to ensure proper sequencing of events and tracking of processes
and costs throughout the life cycle of the programs/projects.
You will lead and complete multidimensional, complex tasks with multiple dependencies independently, mentor others regularly ensuring
appropriate succession, and lead others to accomplish complex, cross-organizational goals.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading, managing, and providing program/project management support; and oversees the development of detailed plans, tasks, milestone dates and schedules to ensure proper sequencing of events and tracking of processes and costs.
