About the Position: Serves as Antiterrorism Officer and subject matter expert in the Headquarters, US Army Medical Command Provost Marshal Office. Responsible for developing, coordinating, monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating the status of the Command's Antiterrorism program.

Duties

Responsible for publishing and updating the US Army Medical Command Antiterrorism Operations Order and US Army Medical Command Antiterrorism Strategic Plan. Represents US Army Medical Command, presents and defends positions at meetings, conferences, seminars, and working groups with Antiterrorism representatives. Plans, develops, synchronizes and executes the annual US Army Medical Command Antiterrorism training and exercise program.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This is a drug testing designated position (TDP) subject to pre-employment drug test and random drug testing based on the requirement to possess a Top Secret security clearance.
  • This position requires Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel approximately 25% of the time away from your permanent duty station.
  • This position may require uncommon tour of duty to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment which includes a comprehensive background investigation.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
