About the Position: This position is located at the Army Health Clinic Presidio, Monterey, California. The incumbent will maintain logistical supplies in addition to facilitating deliveries of supplies to clinical sections within the Detachment. Monterey is approximately 115 miles from San Francisco and 350 miles from Los Angeles. Temperature ranges between 60 and 70 degrees and cost of living can be expensive. Duties

Serve as a Supply Technician/ Logistics and or supply administrative management to include purchasing and maintaining par levels for the Detachment. Conduct detailed inventories. Research sources of supply for items and equipment purchases. Utilize automated supply systems databases to enter, correct and retrieve reports. Maintain hand-receipt file of all non-expendable items received from the installation Property Book Officer. Compile information and prepares a variety of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Employees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be screened for applicable immunizations or pre-existing immunity based on occupational risk, regardless of job series.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
• Employees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be tested for Tuberculosis prior to being appointed.
• Expected to Travel (TDY) outside of the commuting area up to 10%.
