Duties

The selectee will serve as a Personnel Psychologist in the Human Resources Research and Assessment Division. Typical work assignments include: Leading development and implementation of tests, surveys, and related instruments for application to specific and general examining or other human capital needs. Serving as a team leader in the implementation and ongoing program evaluation of major human capital programs Developing new insights and applying innovative solutions to solving human capital issues.

Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Basic Requirements AND Specialized Experience requirements as noted below Basic Requirement: You must hold a bachelor's degree or higher in Psychology or a related major. (NOTE: you must provide transcripts). AND Specialized Experience: You qualify for the GS-14 level (starting salary $142,488.00) if you possess one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-13 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing the following duties: Leading research on assessment procedures to develop solutions to human resource management issues; Conducting qualitative or quantitative analysis in support of human capital development; and Developing technical documentation (e.g. position papers, reports, briefings) to provide insight on research topics. NOTE: Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement, otherwise you will be found ineligible. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
