Duties
Serves as senior technical expert on audit readiness functions within DLA Disposition Services, Process Excellence Branch
Prepares DLA Disposition Services personnel and supports the Independent Public Auditor (IPA) walkthroughs to include monitoring/approving provided by client (PBC) responses that are submitted to the Independent Public Auditor.
Develops, designs and implements Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Department of Defense (DOD) or service sponsored audit readiness initiatives related to Process Cycle Memorandums (PCMs).
Identifies and remediates gaps in business processes/internal controls; provide status updates and challenges to leadership.
Compiles, analyze and articulate audit results in support of executive level briefings to supervisors, SES/GO leaders inside and outside of the agency.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Program Analyst your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Understanding of internal controls, developing corrective action plans, and performing root cause analysis.
Leading and fostering teams; building, partnering and collaborating with organizational business partners
Developing, designing, and implementing DLA, DoD or service/agency sponsored initiate/projects/programs to include detailed plans, goals, and objectives for the long-range implementation and administration.
Developing studies, analyses, evaluation, and assessments that relate to the actual and potential impact of new initiatives on disposal mission

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
