Flyer uses the Direct Hire Authority Acquisition Demo Business & Technical Mgmt authority to recruit/appoint qualified candidates to positions in competitive service.
Duties
You will serve as a Program Manager in the Bridge Integration/Ship Control System and Targeted HME Systems Program Office (PMS 443) of SEA 21.
You will be responsible for programmatic oversite of tasks on the various ship class throughout the US Navy.
You will be responsible for solving broad ship control systems' programmatic and logistics issues.
You will implement strategic plans within and across organizational components.
You will advise others based on your experience managing resources and applying complex program management techniques, practices, and theories.
You will analyze various types of issues, (e.g., programmatic, technical, administrative, managerial) based on your master level of concepts, principles, practices and implementation of business processes to resolve issues.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
FOR NH-04 (GS-14/15 equivalent): Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) or grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience leading the development or implementation of programmatic, contractual, or acquisition strategies to resolve operational issues for ship warfare systems, subsystems, or components.
