About the Position: Serves as a project officer/team member with responsibility for carrying out planning, advising,reviewing and program management duties associated with the execution of environmental cleanupfor restoration, pollution prevention, compliance, or conservation at Army facilities.

Duties

Develop procurement packages and coordinates technical evaluations of proposals in support of environmental projects. Advise installations on interpretation of regulations impacting on Army environmental activities with potential for demonstration of environmental technologies. Provides reports to HQDA for submission to DoD and Congress on environmental program activities at Army installations.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Position requires filing of the OGE-450 financial disclosure form by the employee.
  • Position requires business travel up to 30% of the time.
