About the Position: Serves as a project officer/team member with responsibility for carrying out planning, advising,reviewing and program management duties associated with the execution of environmental cleanupfor restoration, pollution prevention, compliance, or conservation at Army facilities.
Duties
Develop procurement packages and coordinates technical evaluations of proposals in support of environmental projects
Advise installations on interpretation of regulations impacting on Army environmental activities with potential for demonstration of environmental technologies.
Provides reports to HQDA for submission to DoD and Congress on environmental program activities at Army installations.
Requirements

- Position requires business travel up to 30% of the time.

Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes:
Utilizing environmental protection practices and skills, reviewing candidate technologies or applications for demonstration applicability and transfer.
Participating in the maintenance of a repository that identifies and describes restoration, pollution prevention, compliance, and conservation technologies as developed by Federal laboratories and private companies.
Serving as a Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) for studies, surveys, demonstration projects and technology transfer projects.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
