This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Duties

Analyze data such as: required parts, abilities, equipment, project cost, man-hour(s), location, and work needed to complete the project outlined. Serve as senior production controller for Chemical and Biological Defense Operations. Establishes baselines, support in development, implementation and modifications to production processes and the procedures relating to manufacturing operations. Develop project timeline for all projects so that processes can be briefed to higher levels of management or to the customer. Responsible for planning, programming and scheduling operations in the production and manufacturing arena.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Planning and scheduling production operations; analyzing data such as parts and costs and keeping projects balanced; implementing processes and procedure related to manufacturing; utilizing knowledge to prevent production delays, conflicts, or lack of materials; and organizing, compiling and writing contract specifications as well as cost estimates for contract work. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade level position in the federal service (GS-09).
