Duties

Issues tools, equipment and games to authorized customers. Checks identification. Collects fees when appropriate, completes appropriate documentation. Receives returned items, inspecting for damage and missing parts. Checks inventories and supplies. In a recreation facility, assists in directing patrons, scheduling the use of courts, lanes and equipment. Provides customer service, facility and program information to patrons. Assists with simple repair and maintenance. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, Chapter 2. to include a medical examination and Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for access to federally controlled facilities.
• Incumbent must be willing and able to move and clean equipment.
• Incumbent must be willing and able to lift 55 pounds.
• Incumbent must be willing and able to work varying shifts to include days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
• Incumbent must be willing and able to possess the following certificates within 6 months of employment: MWR Orientation Course, Customer Service.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: No experience required. **If providing a resume, the information provided on your resume should be clear and specific. Six (6) months of experience working in a fitness facility.
