The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Armaments Center (AC) which serves as the Army's technology leader for armament systems. DEVCOM AC ensures dominance of Army capabilities by researching, developing, integrating and delivering technology-enabled armament solutions to our Warfighters. Armaments Center has a long tradition as the primary research and development center for new and existing armament systems which are in use by U.S. service members around the world.

Duties

Serves as a senior Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist responsible for quality management on armament systems production. Demonstrates knowledge in quality assurance concepts, operating principles and procedures. Participates in formal and informal meetings, conferences, and committees, and prepares information documents to brief high level management officials.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• You must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
• Selectee must meet position requirements for Engineering and Technical Management Certification in Contracting within 60 months of entrance on duty.
