Duties
This is a supervisory position. Reports directly to the Spot Facility Manager. Responsible for the recruitment of staff and planning, assigning and reviewing employees work. Schedules, approves/disapproves leave requests, maintains employee records and ensures all training requirements are met. Conducts performance evaluations and recommends awards; maintains discipline; resolves grievances for Community Center employees. Assist Community Programs with scheduling rooms for meetings/events, etc. Serves as Alternate Facility Manager for The SPOT, annex facilities. Assists Community Program

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Must have progressively responsible experience which provides a general knowledge of management principles and practices. Must
have progressively responsible experience in and knowledge of domestic and international travel ticketing which has provided a varied knowledge of travel industry rules, regulations, and procedures. Must have experience in receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, or other procession of cash items when this includes direct handling of cash items and use of cash accountability control methods. Must have knowledge of and experience providing computer-based travel reservations and ticketing, including, but not limited to money change orders and vouchers. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions. Must be able to drive long distances with large groups of people over improved and unimproved roads. Must provide a valid driver's license. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must be able to able work days, nights. weekends and holidays. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). THIS IS A DRUG TESTING DESIGNATED

Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
