Duties

This is a supervisory position. Reports directly to the Spot Facility Manager. Responsible for the recruitment of staff and planning, assigning and reviewing employees work. Schedules, approves/disapproves leave requests, maintains employee records and ensures all training requirements are met. Conducts performance evaluations and recommends awards; maintains discipline; resolves grievances for Community Center employees. Assist Community Programs with scheduling rooms for meetings/events, etc. Serves as Alternate Facility Manager for The SPOT, annex facilities. Qualifying Experience: Must have progressively responsible experience which provides a general knowledge of management principles and practices. Must have progressively responsible experience in and knowledge of domestic and international travel ticketing which has provided a varied knowledge of travel industry rules, regulations, and procedures. Must have experience in receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, or other procession of cash items when this includes direct handling of cash items and use of cash accountability control methods. Must have knowledge of and experience providing computer-based travel reservations and ticketing, including, but not limited to money change orders and vouchers. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions. Must be able to drive long distances with large groups of people over improved and unimproved roads. Must provide a valid driver's license. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must be able to able work days, nights. weekends and holidays. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements.
