You will serve as a INSTALLATION PLANS PROGRAMS AND READINESS INTEGRATOR in the STRATEGY AND FUTRURE SHORE INTEGRATED REQUIREMENTS DIVISION of NAVAL AIR STATION FALLON.

Duties

You will oversee the revision of long range plans, goals and objectives for the work of an organization. You will recommend changes to manpower and personnel policies, resource allocations, and business practices to optimize the efficiency of an organization. You will advise on strategy and business alignment to communicate the associated impact on the organization and its stakeholders. You will advise senior leaders on new mission requirements or business processes needed to accomplish an organization's strategic objectives. You will compile data calls from others and organize data into simplified and relative data for analysis. You will document recommendations to senior leaders outlining improvements to the effectiveness of operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance while employed in the subject position. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position requires the employee to travel away from the normal duty station. The employee must be willing and able to travel on military and commercial aircraft.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzes program performance data to identify issues, make recommendations for improvement, and drive innovative solutions. 2) Analyzes and interprets complex intricacies involved in the application of related laws, regulations, policies, precedents, methods and techniques of program management and planning, as well as resource management. 3) Serves as technical advisor to program managers/directors on business performance tools and processes. 4) Analyzes resource program effectiveness and develops recommendation for Senior Leadership; and 5) Develops and recommends changes to measure program accomplishments, results or effectiveness.
