You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST/OFFICER IN CHARGE in the Depot Clothing Branch, Supply and Service Divsion of MCRD ERR PI SC. Duties

You will establish goals and priorities and direct manpower, equipment, and funding assets to achieve divisions goals in the most cost-effective manner. You will manage the actions as the Inventory Control Officer. You will establish goals and objectives for the conduct of periodic and unscheduled inventories. You will analyze inventory results, conduct appropriate causative research and direct corrective actions, if required. You will review and sign inventory reports for submission to appropriate agencies. You will conduct interviews and make selections for vacant positions. You will approve causative research prior to induction of adjustment vouchers. You will conduct periodic audits between local records and contractor's invoices to ensure accuracy. You will ensure adherence to established Depot safety programs, directives and procedures.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Supervisory Supply Management Specialist experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing a knowledge of specialized methods and techniques to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of supply programs and operations in order to supervise/manage lower-level employees in a Supply Department. I have experience analyzing metrics and operations independently and resolving difficult issues and problems in the assigned area of responsibility involving, supply processes, work methods, supply data management, and day-to-day operational procedures. I also have experience providing advice, counsel and leading other employees. Examples of specialized experience must include: 1) Analyzing inventory results, conducting appropriate causative research and directing correcting actions; 2) Resolving conflicts in customer descriptions of required items, recommending substations, and advising about alternative acquisition approaches; 3) Identifying and arranging training needs for employees; 4) Ensuring adherence to established safety programs, directives and procedures; and 5) Maintaining inventory control records and developing methods for achieving quality standards and supply operations goals Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series
