You will serve as a SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST in the Marine Corps Recruiting Command (MCRC) District Supply Office of 6TH MARINE CORPS.

Duties

You will use knowledge of standardized supply regulations to perform technical support duties related to procurement lifecycle actions within the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) program and supporting systems. You will search different databases to extract information to resolve data discrepancies, respond to questions, provide status, verify information, and other related functions. You will analyze procurement data from automated systems to recommended procedural changes and problems solutions designed to improve overall supply effectiveness and evaluate cost effectiveness. You will initiate corrective actions to eliminate systemic deficiencies. Evaluate exception reports to determine systemic causes. You will ensure the District, Recruiting Stations, and sub-station personnel are maintaining explicit roles in the financial and accounting system to ensure separation of duties while creating, certifying, and amending purchases. You will manage the District Supply Department of the Navy Taskers within the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) Task Management Tool (TMT). You will provide guidance to customers and subordinate commands regarding supply processes. File and archive all transactions, documentation, and reports.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card with travel and purchase authority.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing analysis, procurement lifecycle actions, reconciling fiscal reports, training subordinate commands, and providing specific program support for supply and data systems. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Master's or equivalent graduate degree

OR

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

OR

LL.B. or J.D., if related
Applicant can also qualify through a combination of education and experience which when combined equals 100%.
