Position serves as a scanning specialist located in Marion Illinois.
Duties

Duties include but may not be limited to:
Index each captured/scanned document within the appropriate electronic document management system.
Combine and/or repair records as indicated by established guidelines.
Prepare files containing medical and administrative records with no activity for three years for record retirement.
Work Schedule: Full-time; Monday-Friday; 8:00am-4:30pm

This position requires the skills of a qualified typist. In addition to meeting the experience and/or education requirements, you must be able to type at least 40 words per minute.
AND
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: At least one (1) year of general experience

SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED): Successful completion of 2 years of education above high school.
-OR-
COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED): Combination of general experience and education above high school.

IMPORTANT: A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. All experience listed on your resume must include the month and year start/end dates. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. Physical Requirements:
The work is mostly sedentary; however, some bending, stretching, walking, and lifting are
required. Boxes of records weighing up to 50 pounds must be packaged and lifted for shipment.
