Duties

Responsible for pre-award and post-award contracting functions for high dollar value products. Direct the work of contract specialist engaged in the performance of contract awards. Perform the necessary contract management activities consistent with the Federal Acquisition regulation guidance and contractual agreements Interpret contract provisions of contractors to defend all actions taken.

• This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Contracting Certification within 36 months of entrance on duty.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly

Executing acquisition planning, delegating workload assignments, management and accountability; 3.) This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
