You will serve in a Program Management position as the Principal Assistant Program Manager for Systems Integration (PMS 378S) in the New Construction Aircraft Carriers Program Office of PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICE CARRIERS.
Duties
You will be responsible for the application of program management techniques to the technical attributes of the FORD Class aircraft carriers.
You will supervise project managers in developing, organizing analyzing, executing and monitoring planned requirements including training, mentoring, and fostering a diverse work force.
You will develop and execute long-range program plans and requirements for FORD Class Technical issues along with SEA 05V.
You will work with the shipbuilder and key stakeholders to employ an optimal resolution of technical issues, balancing cost, schedule and quality.
You will defend budget submissions to ASN (RD+A) and to Congress, justifying program requirements.
You will develop budget planning, and execution plan development processes.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-03 (GS-13 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading the development of budget or financial plans for a ship or submarine weapon systems program.
