This position is located in Division of Risk Management Supervision (RMS), Strategy, Performance & Governance Section (SPG) and is responsible for supporting the Chief of SPG and senior management with the direction, development, and alignment of RMS strategic planning, performance, and governance in support of personnel, programs, and operations.

Duties
Plans and coordinates Strategic Planning Sessions/Workshops to facilitate the establishment and/or update of the Division's strategic plan, including developing the planning framework, reviewing mission and functional statements and formulating goals for short and long-term accomplishments.
Conducts complex operational and strategic analysis of processes, procedures, and systems to identify, define, develop, and implement Division-wide strategic initiatives.
Develops and maintains a governance framework that provides for monitoring of identified strategic, budget, and operational initiatives. Works with senior management and business line leaders to research and document RMS standard operating procedures. Develop a system to ensure the ongoing review, relevance, and maintenance of key standard operating procedures.
Develops and maintains guidance for the Division related to workforce analysis, position and successionmanagement strategies, and governance practices.
Prepare detailed reports, development and maintenance of dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress on strategic initiatives to RMS executive management and other relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS/CG-14 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as:
Experience in the following areas: facilitating strategic plans with senior leadership, executing plans and communicating operational risks and mitigation strategies, applying analytical methods, designing human capital strategies, and providing support in hiring, retention, and succession management.
