This position is located in the Office of Account Management, Office of Customer and Stakeholder Engagement (QC/CASE), with the Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), General Services Administration (GSA).   Location of Position: You must reside in one of the following locations. Norfolk, VA, Washington DC, Guam (U.S. island territory) We are currently filling multiple vacancies, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

Duties

This position(s) can be filled at any duty location within the geographic area specified in the announcement. The incumbent will be expected to report to a specific GSA duty location two or more days a pay period depending upon the terms of the agency’s telework policy.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship or National (Residents of American Samoa and Swains Island)
  • Meet all eligibility criteria within 30 days of the closing date
  • Meet time-in-grade within 30 days of the closing date, if applicable
  • Register with Selective Service if you are a male born after 12/31/1959

Qualifications

For each job on your resume, provide: the exact dates you held each job (from month/year to month/year) number of hours per week you worked (if part time).     If you have volunteered your service through a National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, Americorps), we encourage you to apply and include this experience on your resume.For a brief video on creating a federal resume, click here. The GS-13 salary range starts at $104,861.00 per year.  If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.   Washington DC: $117,962.00 Norfolk, VA: $104,861  Guam: $103,409 (The U.S. Government pays cost-of-living allowances (COLAs) to white-collar civilian Federal employees in Alaska, Hawaii, Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.) To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service.  Specialized Experience: Specialized experience is advising and consulting with customers on the procurement of multiple services and products in order to meet their organizational and business needs. This experience must include educating and advising customers on a variety of acquisition and procurement vehicles; planning and executing established customer support goals; establishing and maintaining customer relationships; preparing and conducting customer briefings, seminars, and site visits; and independently analyzing customer budget, spend data, and market trends in order to develop acquisition strategies and provide recommendations. Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS-12 grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement.  SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR (SPF): In addition to the qualification requirements listed above, you must also meet the following SPF, which has been identified as: Must posses a valid U.S. Driver's License.
