About the Position: Manages and administers the Security and Law Enforcement Program. This position allows for situational telework only. This position is not eligible for full-time telework.

Duties

Establish security program according to Army Regulations. Advise appropriate officials of methods of control and/or elimination of security risks. Coordinate investigations of allegations of crimes against person(s) and/or property. Develop and/or review scopes off work for contracts. Establish Antiterrorism programs which includes collection, analysis, and dissemination of threat information.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Requires incumbent to obtain the following core SPeD Certification: Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) within the first two years of employment.
  • Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
  • This position is covered by the civilian drug abuse testing program. Incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019-R, Condition off Employment for certain civilian positions identified as critical under the Drug Abuse Testing Program.
  • This position is subject to random drug testing in accordance with EP 600-1-3.
  • Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) is required thirty (25%) percent of the duty time.

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
