This position is located under the Office of Field Operations - Programs, NCETR Explosives Research and Development Division in Huntsville, Alabama.

Qualifications

To qualify for GS-15, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-14. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. Specialized experience include: Applying in-depth knowledge of Federal explosives laws and regulations governing explosives statutes and related programs. Managing a diverse team of professional series employees: AND Representing the Bureau in inter-agency meetings, conferences and ad hoc committees on Division issues and program initiatives; AND Directing the coordination of projects and programs with management officials in other divisions: AND Communicating with a high degree of effectiveness in order to formulate and present conclusions, explain, and interpret factual information, and ensure cohesive and cooperative work efforts.
