This position is located in the Division of Administration (DOA), Corporate Services Branch, Records and Information Management Unit (RIMU) of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of administration, analysis, and implementation of the FDIC Directives and Forms Programs in Headquarters and the Regional Offices. Additional selections may be made from this vacancy announcement to fill identical vacancies that occur subsequent to this announcement.

Duties

Identifies, develops, and implements Corporate-wide policies and procedures that ensure proper management of the FDIC’s Directives and Forms Programs. Leads the Headquarters staff in coordinating assignments, projects, and program plans; balancing workload and tasks among employees. Analyzes, reviews, and processes Corporate-wide directives and forms in accordance with established policy, guidelines, and procedures. Ensures compliance with editorial standards, correctness of format, and accuracy of information. Prepares reports and maintains records of work accomplishments and administrative information, as required, and coordinates the preparation, presentation, and communication of work-related information to the supervisor.

Qualifications

Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Additional qualifications information can be found here. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG/GS-12 grade level or above in the Federal service.  Specialized experience is defined as 1) interpreting and applying directives and forms management policies; 2) editing, finalizing, and posting forms, policies, and directives. Applicants must have met the qualification requirements (including selective placement factors – if any) for this position within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement.

There is no substitution of education for the experience for this position.
