Duties

Lead and mentor the team by communicating objectives, assigning tasks, and resolving issues. Monitor progress, ensure quality, and conduct team assessments for improvements. Survey and monitor sites for mission suitability and legal compliance. Maintain General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS) and other real property databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Resolve disputes and negotiate property-related agreements. Plan and coordinate property acquisitions, appraisals, and certifications. Prepare financial and technical reports for audits and briefings.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Managing workflow for the Corps of Engineers to negotiate management program for out-grants, leases, licenses, easements and permits; 2) Preparing data to support acquisition or disposal of Non housing real property; 3) Maintaining grants in an automated real property database for reporting; 4) Entering data in an automated financial accounting system/resource management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
