About the Position: This position is with the Army Reserve Aviation Command, Aviation Support Facility Liberty Eart (Rotary Wing) located at Fort Liberty, North Carolina. This facility supports UH-60L Blackhawks.
Duties
Planning weekly and monthly work schedules.
Establish deadlines and priorities.
Assign tasks to be performed.
Review work in progress.
Develop performance standards.
Interview candidates for vacancies.
Maintain production reports and records.
Requirements
- This position requires you to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position is subject to Drug Abuse Testing Program requirements.
- This position requires a medical examination prior to employment.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Aircraft Mechanic Supervisor without more than normal supervision. Applicants must meet the screen out elements to be considered further. To meet the screen out element, applicants should document experience in the following: ability to assign tasks to subordinates, review work, investigate work related problems, make decisions in regard to equipment, supply and maintenance needs, interview individuals, identify employee training needs and maintain production reports and records. Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.

Physical Effort: Work is performed on hard surfaces and in work areas that require standing, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Attendant frequently lifts and carries tools, parts, supplies, and equipment weighing up to 40 pounds. Handtrucks, dollies, and forklifts are available for use in handling heavier items.
Working Conditions: Works in aircraft hangar which is well lighted, fairly clean, and well heated but occasionally drafty and noisy. There is some possibility of minor cuts and bruises.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
