Duties

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Regulations Coordinator, you will use your knowledge of and experience with The Immediate Office of the Secretary to optimize business results and customer experience by: Serving as a senior- level advisor, planning and interpreting of information to senior leadership concerning regulatory documents. Providing technical assistance to offices within the Department on regulatory actions, interagency clearances, and reorganizations; Responding to inquiries from HHS staff, other Federal agencies and the White House on the status and content of regulations and reorganizations. Reviewing all Federal Register documents to assure that each is correct and true to the original submitted.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: You must have at least one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Analyzing and interpreting regulatory documents for submission, filing regulatory documents, and making edits and improvements as needed. Developing and writing memos, summaries, guidance documents or other materials relating to regulatory actions or interagency clearances. Developing reports or preforming quality control assessments. Documenting experience: IN DESCRIBING YOUR EXPERIENCE, PLEASE BE CLEAR AND SPECIFIC. WE WILL NOT MAKE ASSUMPTIONS REGARDING YOUR EXPERIENCE. Qualifications are based on breadth/level of experience. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to gain employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. If such experience is on a part-time basis, you must provide the average number of hours worked per week as well as the beginning and ending dates of the experience so it can be fully credited.
