This position is located in the Division of Administration, Washington, D.C., of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of IT and technology solutions.

Duties
Develops new and innovative approaches and methodologies to resolve complex technical, administrative and procedural problems.
Manages complex technology-involved projects.
Analyzes business processes and researches information technology and technological solutions.
Leads complex assignments involving the analysis of CSB business processes and research of IT and technological solutions necessary to improve the business processes’ effectiveness, such as but not limited to process automation, relevant data generation, data analysis and visualization, reporting, etc.
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade 14 level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing analysis of business processes to identify ways to use information technology to improve work processes and products.
