Duties
Cross-Process management - analyzing demand/supply chain performance critical data across all processes; and advise on the probable effects of alternative solutions to supply chain problems.
Function as a Team Lead - coaching, mentoring and facilitating duties of the team.
Generate and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPls) and metric; revising, analyzing and evaluating KPls, metrics and other process performance critical data to ensure demand/supply chain is meeting its performance targets.
Perform capability studies and demand/supply chain evaluation studies; review studies performed by internal and external personnel for technical accuracy or applicability.
Ensure the appropriate level of coordination and integration with DLA HQ, DLA Troop Support Command, Business Process Analysts, Process Owners and Demand Supply Chain Analysts.
Coordinate a team approach of shared responsibilities and commitment to provide improved support to internal/external operations/processes.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Lead Demand/Supply Chain Analyst your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Experience utilizing supply systems (SQL,SAS, QLIK) or similar programming environments to gather data for analytical studies of demand/supply chain activities.
Experience with cross-process management in the demand/supply chain management space.
Analyzing and evaluating Key Performance Indicators, metrics or other performance critical data.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
